Integrative Psychiatry
“We use 20% of our daily intake on brain function”
– Nourished Minds LLC
Miranda is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for adolescents and adults. She believes that effective treatment goes beyond simply prescribing medication, it begins with understanding the whole person.
During your initial evaluation, Miranda will take the time to learn about your symptoms, medical history, treatment experiences, lifestyle, and goals. Together, you'll develop an individualized treatment plan that may include psychiatric medication management, laboratory testing, pharmacogenetic (genetic) testing, recommendations to support the gut-brain connection, and other integrative strategies designed to optimize both mental and physical well-being.
For individuals navigating eating disorders, Miranda takes a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach. She carefully considers objective medical information including labs, vital signs, and other clinical data alongside each person's lived experience to assess medical stability and guide treatment recommendations. She works closely with therapists, registered dietitians, primary care providers, and other members of your treatment team to ensure care is coordinated, thoughtful, and personalized.
Whether you're exploring medication for the first time, looking for a second opinion, or seeking ongoing psychiatric support, Miranda is committed to helping you feel informed, empowered, and supported every step of the way.
